Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts cut into thin strips
  • 6 slices ham
  • 6 slices cheese mozzarella, cheddar, or Swiss

Coating

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs panko or regular
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Frying

  • 1 cup vegetable oil for frying
  • toothpicks to secure rolls

Instructions
 

  • Pound the chicken strips slightly to make them even in thickness.
  • Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each chicken strip. Roll them tightly and secure them with toothpicks.
  • Dredge each roll in flour, dip into the beaten eggs, and then coat with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Place the coated sticks in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes to help them hold their shape.
  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Fry the sticks for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from the oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

For a healthier alternative, bake the sticks at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through. Add chili flakes or cayenne pepper for a spicy kick!
